I'm home finally.
Came back from Infantry Army Basic Combat Training at Fort Benning.
It was hot. Some people there died from heat exhaustion, but it's their own fault. They should have drank more water. The guy next to me lost a lung because he got severe pneumonia, the mixture of intense training and having your body broken down weakens the immune system.
I learned how to use a lot of weapons: AT-4 Anti Tank, M240B Machine Gun, M243 Grenade Launcher, .50 Caliber Machine Gun, MK19 Grenade Launcher Machine Gun, the common hand grenade, M-16 Rifle.
We learned GFT, Ground Fighting Techniques aka Brazillian JuJitsu.
Before sitting down we were required to recite The Law
The Law: This is our domain. Are we not men? NO WE ARE NOT MEN! We are beasts. For you have made us beasts. We will not walk. We will not talk. We will not gather in the middle of the night. We will only dress right, dress right, dress. Ready front. And as a last resort we will use cold blue steel and STAB! between the second and third ribs, and TWIST! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRGH!!!!!

| 5 Days.
and i'm on a plane with a bunch of wannabe toughs and crazy braves to Fort Benning, Georgia, home of the infantry.
The toughest Army BCT Camp out of all of em.
In the words of my sgt - "you're gonna be sweating your balls off private kim."
I expect lots of food when i come back.
Maybe a trip to Cali for some todai.
Maybe some pinkberry *wink wink Esther

But last years was 3.44
this year i got
BIO 100 [4 credit hours] B (most people got a D or failed this class)
Military Science [3 credit hours] A-
Child Pscyhology [ 4 credit hours] A
so that yea. i needed a 3.25 and that's def. above a 3.25
I told you I was actually studying Grace,
not just taking pictures.
oh yea, and Quietdrive [Tooth and Nail Records, same label as Underoath, MXPX, Mae] put up my picture on their site and got me another photo pass.

Ranger Run
40 lb ruck.
Full canteens (about 2 lbs)
plus they gave me a rifle so that was like what, 8 lbs.
roughly around 50 lbs total, give or take.
oh yes,
i forgot to mention the 12 miles of road.
I was happy, can't you tell.
All in all, it was a good experience.
